José Garcia, executive director of American Care, said the company has surpassed the original facilities in the U.S. UU. The partial opening of the clinic is scheduled for early January, Garcia said, and the inauguration is scheduled for mid-February. City officials toured the new facility during its renovations, and everyone expressed their enthusiasm.
The new facility will house four doctor's offices, a wellness center and a cosmetology center. The wellness center will offer patients a therapeutic area to keep fit and socialize, Garcia said. Patients who have difficulties with personal grooming can take advantage of the cosmetology center. The staff will cut the hair and ensure that the fingernails and toenails are well cared for to prevent infections, Garcia said.
And there will be a room available for all people of faith to pray in silence, he said. The clinic will also offer specialized telemedicine care, which allows the patient and the primary care physician to work with a specialist through a television monitor. The specialist will be connected through a virtual private network in a system that will create more effective care coordination, Garcia said.
